Work/Shop

Alpha-Kilo Work/Shop is a pioneering platform for immersive brand storytelling, experiential engagement, and meaningful market access for luxury brands. Bringing together craftsmanship, creativity, and commerce, Work/Shop offers participating brands direct exposure to tastemakers, media, and high-value audiences through a highly curated, story-driven exhibition format.

Each edition invites brands to showcase the artistry behind their products in a dynamic, workshop-powered environment, blending live making, narrative design, and curated retail. Set within a warm, residential-style space, the experience fosters connection, curiosity, and commerce, with products available for order or purchase on-site.

A strategic media and events program ensures extended brand visibility, with professional content capture, including editorial photography and social-first video, designed to reach global design audiences far beyond the room.

This July, Alpha Kilo returns to Nantucket for the second edition of Work/Shop Nantucket, timed to coincide with Nantucket by Design.

Following a sold-out inaugural edition, Work/Shop Nantucket 2026 runs July 14–18, exploring Maritime Legacies — the sea as the original conduit for cultural exchange. The immersive, retail-enabled installation brings together global luxury brands and master artisans in a residential-style environment where process, provenance, and purpose take centre stage. Bespoke furniture, textiles, lighting, and objects are showcased throughout, with everything in the space available for purchase or order.

Work/Shop Nantucket takes place in conjunction with Nantucket by Design, the Nantucket Historical Association's premier annual design event. This highly anticipated week draws a distinguished audience of executives, philanthropists, design industry leaders, artisans, and devoted NHA supporters. Participation in Nantucket by Design directly supports the NHA's mission to preserve and interpret the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, promoting the island's rich heritage and inspiring appreciation among audiences of all kinds.

An evolving editions platform shaped by the cultural rhythm of each location

Alpha Kilo’s Work/Shop series will be returning to London for September 2026, following another successful year last year. Staged within the agency’s Mayfair headquarters at No. 11 Savile Row, Work/Shop London marked the next evolution of Alpha Kilo’s pioneering format for immersive storytelling and luxury brand engagement.

Presented in collaboration with interior designer Joe Waroquier, Work/Shop London transformed Alpha Kilo’s historic Georgian townhouse into an immersive, residential-style installation. The setting showcased furniture, textiles, lighting, and objects from leading luxury brands and independent makers, layered with the intimacy of a lived-in home. Curated by Waroquier, celebrated American designer and co-creator of the Nantucket Work/Shop, the London edition presented a sophisticated dialogue between contemporary design and artisanal craft. Participating partners included Farrow & Ball, Kartell, Lee Broom, Marc Phillips Rugs, The Marchmont Workshop, and Tom Faulkner, whose collections were woven together in a cohesive narrative of materiality and storytelling.

Work/Shop London continues Alpha Kilo’s focus on craft, heritage, and narrative-driven engagement, with select pieces again being available for custom order, bridging the gap between exhibition and marketplace.

ART+INTERIORS

During the 2023 London Design Festival, Alpha Kilo unveiled the inaugural ART+INTERIORS installation in collaboration with Grandy Art. The concept was a simple yet impactful one: to create a space for the brands we represent to show up in an unexpected way, that affords them the opportunity to garner press coverage, and potentially direct sales, even in the absence of new product launches.

In September, we opened the doors of our newly renovated space in the heart of Mayfair at 11 Savile Row. Designed by celebrated interior designer Alice Leigh and featuring art curated by gallerist Georgie Grandy, the installation brought new life to the building’s stunning Georgian architecture. Contemporary furniture, objects, and artworks from British artists were carefully curated to reflect a sophisticated blend of design and artistry, all available for order or purchase throughout the show. As pieces sold, they were replaced with new works, creating a living, evolving exhibition that, due to popular demand, ran through the end of December. A dynamic calendar of events complemented the installation, designed to engage the media, raise brand awareness, and support commercial outcomes for our clients.

In 2024, the second edition of ART+INTERIORS returned to the London Design Festival, once again in partnership with Georgie Grandy. The refreshed concept introduced exciting new collections from leading contemporary design brands, thoughtfully staged to reflect a harmonious balance of craftsmanship, elegance, and innovation. This edition featured collaborations with The Marchmont Workshop, Christopher Farr Cloth, Lee Broom, Pooky, Georgie Wykeham, and Lorfords & Lorfords Contemporary, with styling by Karolina Tornqvist, bringing a vibrant new layer of storytelling to the historic Savile Row space.
