Bernhardt Design Launches Cooper Guest Chair, Designed by Chris Adamick
Bernhardt Design is pleased to announce Cooper, a new guest chair designed by American designer Chris Adamick. Beautifully sculpted from solid ash, Cooper provides a stylish and practical seating solution for any modern environment. The gently curved contour of the sloped back and arms are juxtaposed against the precise angular legs, creating a unique profile with an intriguing appeal. Available in a variety of colors and finishes, Cooper is a versatile addition to any space while aesthetically complimenting many environments with its sleek and modern appearance.
Inspired by forms that feel both iconic and ordinary at the same time, Chris Adamick strived to create something that was a blend of these ideas, creating a distinct, bold form that easily works itself into daily life. Starting with a somewhat typical and consistent structural concept, Adamick elaborated by wrapping a clean flowing line around the form to create the back and legs. He sculpted in subtle details and eased edges to prioritize comfort and soften the overall experience. The result feels familiar and approachable but also fresh and striking. Offered in a variety of painted or natural wood finishes that work with touchpoints from historical modernism as well as contemporary culture, Cooper is available with a solid carved ash seat and an optional seat pad. It can be created in all ash finishes, including select finishes.
