Concours on Savile Row

Concours on Savile Row

On June 15th and 16th, Hothouse Media, in collaboration with The Pollen Estate, were delighted to host Concours on Savile Row; an event celebrating the artistry and craftsmanship at the heart of both the tailoring and automobile industries.

Over the two days, more than 30 world-class cars lined the iconic street, synonymous with luxury and creative excellence, as Savile Row tailors and notable car manufacturers came together to explore the unity of their two crafts, through concepts, displays and exhibitions.

Dege & Skinner partnered with Morgan Motor Company, exhibiting the brand-new Morgan Super 3 outside No 10. Savile Row, which features customised interior door panels created by the tailoring-house in collaboration. Huntsman joined with both Bentley Mulliner Division and Hagerty Classic Car Insurance, also displaying the 1964 Jaguar E-Type Coupe as featured in the Kingsman film - a movie franchise which Huntsman served as inspiration, and exclusive costume creators for. And combining a rich heritage with innovation, the tailoring house and luxury fabric merchant Scabal, celebrating its 50th year on Savile Row, partnered with the all-new British coachbuilding brand, Caton.

These extraordinary collaborations between iconic design institutions set the stage for live music and a number of late-hour openings of many of the renowned shoemakers, galleries and tailors for which the street is known. The event marked a celebration of creativity and passion for design which the tailoring and automobile worlds, as well as their customers, hold immensely dear.
