Bernhardt Design Debuts Sunset Modular Collection by Cory Grosser for NeoCon 2025

Bernhardt Design is thrilled to announce the Sunset modular seating collection, a new series of lounge and modular sofas by Cory Grosser. Effortlessly blending vintage inspiration with modern design, the Sunset Collection will debut in June 2025 for NeoCon after a successful ICFF preview.

Drawing from the iconic flair of California's Sunset Strip, the collection captures the spirit of the '60s and '70s while remaining entirely contemporary. The design’s large, rounded corners create a bold, graphic presence, while generous seat cushions evoke the molded foam furniture of Italian Post-War design. To balance the cushions' casual, laid-back feel, the elegant seat and back feature precise tailoring indicative of today’s craftsmanship. In this way, Cory feels that “the Sunset sofa manages to feel both familiar and refreshingly new.”

Sunset offers a wide range of seating options, including a free-standing lounge, modular and free-standing modules, and connecting corners. All versions are supported by a black plinth base. Further, back and backless versions provide more options to accommodate varied spaces.

The collection comes fully upholstered, with customizable options for both the back and seat. Choose from a variety of contrasting textiles to perfectly complement any space. Sunset is available in multiple sizes, including 36" and 46" wide modules, 48" wide left- and right-facing units, and 45- and 90-degree corner connectors. Each piece can stand alone or be combined with others to create a wide range of versatile configurations.

Bernhardt Design is thrilled to return to NeoCon with the debut of an exceptional new collection. Jerry Helling, Creative Director and President of Bernhardt Design, says, “We are delighted to be back at NeoCon, especially as we feature Cory and the Sunset Collection. Our long-standing collaboration has always been about craftsmanship and thoughtful design, and this collection is a perfect reflection of that spirit.”
