iF DESIGN AWARD Announces 2025 Winners, Highlighting Exceptional Contributions in Design
iF Design, the globally recognised authority on design, has announced the winners of the 2025 edition of the iF DESIGN AWARD. Regarded as one of the most prestigious accolades in the design world, the iF DESIGN AWARD brings together an international jury of experts in their respective fields to choose winners across categories ranging from product to architecture, communication design to user experience, and more.
Since its inception in 1953, iF Design has been committed to advancing the role of design in society and fostering innovation. This year, the prestigious award attracted nearly 11,000 entries from 70 countries across 9 design disciplines, judged by a jury of 131 independent experts from around the world. The 2025 edition featured standout projects across design categories, with 75 Gold Awards and 2,294 winners in total. In a significant update to its 2025 awards program, sustainability now represents one-fifth of the judging criteria across the Award’s nine design disciplines and 82 categories, evaluated equally alongside Idea, Form, Function and Differentiation. As part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to excellence and impact in design, the iF DESIGN AWARD has replaced the former Impact criteria, which included commercial considerations, with Sustainability, which focuses entirely on social and environmental factors. With this, iF Design is underlining its ongoing commitment to elevating this important conversation about design’s impact and helping to usher positive change in the industry and beyond.
The iF DESIGN AWARD continues to shine a spotlight on exceptional design across multiple categories, with significant achievements in architecture, urban design, user experience, and more.
Winning an iF Design Award is a remarkable achievement, recognizing excellence in innovation and design on a global stage. Awarded in various disciplines and categories, winners stood out among nearly 11,000 submissions from 66 countries—an impressive feat that highlights the continued competitiveness and relevance of the award. With their groundbreaking products, this year’s winners captured the attention of an international jury of 131 independent design experts, ultimately earning the prestigious iF seal of approval.
