Triennale Milano Unveils Exhibition on Visionary Architect Franco Raggi

Triennale Milano has launched its latest exhibition, ‘Franco Raggi. Pensieri instabili (Unstable thoughts)’, which offers an in-depth exploration of Franco Raggi, architect, designer, and intellectual. Curated by Marco Sammicheli and Francesca Pellicciari, and featuring an installation designed by Piovenefabi, the exhibition will be held in the Design Platform space in the Museo del Design Italiano dedicated to key topics and figures in contemporary design. Active on both the Italian and international scene for over half a century, Franco Raggi participated in the activities of the Radical Design groups as well as collaborating with Studio Alchimia. The exhibition is divided into key chapters of Raggi’s work in the fields of product design, exhibition installation, interiors, and drawing, and in publishing, with a particular focus on architecture’s role in society.

It also showcases a selection of objects, projects, drawings, and films describing Raggi’s life and career as well as placing particular emphasis on his numerous interactions with Triennale Milano, beginning in 1973, when he participated in the 15th edition of the International Exhibition.

Franco Raggi. Pensieri instabili (Unstable thoughts)’ runs from 7 February to 13 April 2025 at Triennale Milano
