Chuck wears his heart on his sleeve. He is currently head of strategy at TM, a design and innovation group in SF. He is the owner of Phonobar, a DJ, music producer, former Director of Communications at Airbnb, publisher of Pineapple magazine (now Airbnb Mag), co-founder of Tracksmith, and once upon a time a professional runner who ran 3:33.28 for 1500m. Most importantly, in his own words, he’s a father.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?: Happiness comes from being open to life and what comes next.

What is your greatest extravagance?: Fast cars and sushi.

What is your current state of mind?: Cool, calm and collected.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?:

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?: After years of living in London and now residing in the States, I would say I abuse the word "mate" often.

Which talent would you most like to have?: I'm working very hard to become a scratch golfer. Golf is hard.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: The volume of my voice. I'm very loud. It runs in the family.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?: I'm one of the top 10 fastest American's over 1500m ever.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?: After locking eyes for many minutes with an osprey in North Fork recently, I would say an osprey. I felt captivate by the creature.

Where would you most like to live?: My heart feels drawn to New York.

What is your most treasured possession?: Every single pair of shoes I own. Many of them I've worn regularly for 15 years on and had resoled multiple times.

What is your favorite occupation?: All of the above. I've worn many hats in my 36 years on this earth, I would like to keep trying more on before I die.
