Kensington is a portrait, design, and interiors photographer based in London. He fell into backstage fashion photography as a sixteen-year-old whilst on work experience with a production company. For the next five years, he traveled around the world photographing fashion shows for Harper’s Bazaar, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, British GQ Magazine, and The British Fashion Council. During this period Kensington released a series of books that focused on the grand interior spaces used to host fashion shows, as much as the fashion photography itself. This was the start of his love of interiors, portraiture, and self-publishing. Since then Kensington’s work has been published and exhibited around the world. His clients include Samsung, Mr Porter, Coca-Cola, the InterContinental Hotel Group, Monocle Magazine, British GQ Magazine, The Financial Times, How to Spend It, The Guardian Weekend, Harrods, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, The Royal Academy, Conde Nast Traveller and Harper’s Bazaar.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?: Summer backpacking along the King Alfred's Way. Or canoeing in Glasskogen National Park, Sweden.

What is your greatest extravagance?: My little collection of designer candlesticks!

What is your current state of mind?: Cautiously optimistic.

Which talent would you most like to have?: I would love to be able to write convincing fiction stories.

What do you most value in your friends?: The ability to change their minds - people who are constantly evolving and not too stuck in their ways.

Who are your favorite writers?: Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Graves, Suzanna Clarke, Terry Pratchett & Haruki Murakami!
