Christie’s Young Collector’s Club x Mortlach Whisky 

On Friday, July 21, Mortlach Single Malt Scotch Whisky and Christie's hosted a brilliant event at Bad Harriet (part of Hotel Jerome of the Auberge Resorts Collection) in Aspen, Colorado filled with whisky tasting, design and art. 

Christie’s partnered with Mortlach and its ongoing Mortlach by Design program, which champions those boldly pushing design forward. The program launched last year with the Six Stills Series, featuring six renowned designers who crafted bespoke products inspired by Mortlach signature Single Malt Scotch, its six unique stills and distinct distillation process, and most recently hosted a series of events that aligned with the NYCxDesign festival.

The collaboration between Christie’s and Mortlach whisky was a fantastic match, as Christie’s wanted a partner that shares the same appreciation for craftsmanship and design-forward mindset as their Young Collectors Club.

The evening was hosted by Jen Rubio (CEO of Away) & Stewart Butterfield (CEO of Slack), Sarah Arison (Arison Arts Foundation) & Thomas Wilhelm, Brynne McNutly Rojas (McNulty Foundation) & Julio Rojas, and Elizabeth (Elizabeth Stanley Design) & Aaron Stanley (Enclave Advisors, LLC). Featuring unique Mortlach whisky cocktails, delicious canapés and an exclusive tasting of Mortlach 20 year old led by Ewan Morgan, National Luxury Ambassador and Head of Whisky Outreach at Diageo N.A.
